Perrier Jouet Blanc De Blancs Champagne NV Gift Box
Perrier Jouet Blanc De Blancs Champagne NV Gift Box
Producer Background & History:
Maison Perrier-Jouët was established in 1811 in Épernay, Champagne, France by Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Rose Adélaïde Jouët. Over more than two centuries the house has become known for a refined, floral style that emphasizes elegance and finesse. The estate played a role in early development of Chardonnay-driven Champagnes and retains vineyards in top Côte des Blancs Grand Cru villages like Avize and Cramant, where chalky soils and cool climate express bright acidity, purity, and aromatics.
Producer & Winemaker:
The current cellar team, led by the Chef de Caves (historically Hervé Deschamps and now Séverine Frerson), oversees blending, reserve wine selection, and production to maintain a consistent house style of elegance and freshness. The focus is on vibrant Chardonnay parcels from the best vineyard sites.
Vineyard:
Fruit for Blanc de Blancs comes primarily from Grand Cru Chardonnay vineyards in the Côte des Blancs — especially Avize and Cramant. These chalk-rich soils and continental climate produce wines with bright acidity, floral aromatics, and minerality.
The Wine:
Perrier Jouët Blanc de Blancs NV is a non-vintage Champagne crafted to express the purest form of Chardonnay in the Perrier-Jouët house style — vibrant, floral, and elegant, highlighted in a specially designed gift box for presentation.
Vintage:
Non-Vintage (NV) — a blend of multiple years’ harvests selected to ensure consistency and balance.
ABV %:
Approximately 12% alcohol by volume.
Vinification and Aging Method:
Produced using the traditional méthode champenoise — first fermentation, blending of reserve wines, secondary fermentation in bottle, and extended aging on lees for 3+ years to develop texture and depth. Reserve wines help ensure house style consistency.
