Tasting Notes
Deep red to dark violet in appearance. The nose offers lifted ripe berry fruit accompanied by plum, black pepper, spice and subtle chocolate notes. On the palate, it is generous and fruit-driven, with ripe plum and blackberry complemented by sweet spice, vanilla and oak. Soft, approachable tannins provide structure without overwhelming the fruit. The finish is persistent, showing lingering plum, berry, liquorice and spicy oak characteristics. Thorn-Clarke describes the current Milton Park Shiraz style as full-bodied, rich and mouth-filling. 

Food & Wine Pairing
Excellent with grilled beef, roast lamb, barbecue meats, sausages, beef stew and richly flavoured cheeses. The combination of ripe fruit, spice and soft tannins also makes it highly versatile for casual receptions and canapé service. For your event menu, it should pair particularly well with the Japanese Chicken Skewers, Crispy Vietnamese Pork Spring Rolls and Cheese & Charcuterie Spread.
